The Reading Garden

The Bronxville Public Library’s Reading Garden opened to the public on Friday, June 14, 2024, thanks to the overwhelming support of our Community: 

  • The many generous donors who believed in our vision to make the Library's backyard a tranquil respite for reading, relaxation and gathering. 

  • The Library and Village Trustees who supported the vision and helped see it through to its completion. 

  • The State of New York for accepting our grant proposal and seeing the value in outdoor space. 

  • The BPL Outdoor Committee, spearheaded by Christina Krettecos, who were responsible for all the behind the scenes details from concept design, budget and execution. 

  • Friends of the Bronxville Public Library Board who put in many, many volunteer hours. 

  • We would also like to thank Ronen Wilk and everyone at Peter Gisolfi Associates as well as Luigi Casale and his team at Tony Casale Inc.
